How do I create an MOBI account?
Creating an MOBI account requires a valid email address and phone number. You’ll also need to create a password and agree to terms and conditions and our privacy notice. Fill in your first and last name, phone number, and preferred language. Once you complete this part of the signup process, we send a text SMS to verify your phone number.
How does MOBI work?
In cities where MOBI operates, use your rider app to request a ride. When a nearby driver-partner accepts your request, your app displays an estimated time of arrival for the driver-partner heading to your pickup location. Your app notifies you when the driver-partner is about to arrive.

How to identify a driver and vehicle
When you request a ride, your app sends your request to nearby drivers. After you’re matched with a driver, your app shares info about the vehicle and driver headed to your pickup location. Tap the bar that includes the driver’s name, photo, and vehicle. This displays a photo of your driver along with the vehicle’s make, model, and license plate number.
Select a payment method for a ride
You can change your payment method before and during a trip. Please note that if you are in a city that accepts cash as a payment option, you will not be able to switch to or from cash while your trip is in progress.
Selecting a ride profile
Profiles help riders manage travel. You can create different account profiles within your main rider account. Each profile has a default email and payment method that you choose. When you take a trip with a profile, the fare is automatically charged to that profile’s default payment method. The trip receipt will be sent to the profile’s default email address.
What are suggested pickup locations?
To make pickups easier for riders and drivers, your app may suggest nearby pickup locations close to where you’d like to be picked up. Suggested pickup locations appear as green dots based on where other riders have been picked up quickly and easily in the past. You’re free to move the pin on your map to any of these points.
